JOB TITLE:  Office Clerk

 

REPORTS TO:  Principal

 

 

POSITION STATEMENT:  The Office Clerk is responsible for providing general office support as well as knowledgeable and professional administrative services to students, staff, and community in a friendly, efficient, and timely manner so that the overall educational objectives of the school district may be achieved.  This position is responsible for providing direct support to the Principal and Assistant Principal, in partnership and collaboration with the building’s administrative team, in order to assure smooth and efficient operation of the school at all times.  This position follows our Paraprofessional work calendar with the individual working 182 full days during the school year and receiving 7 paid holidays per year.  Additional work days may be requested and completed during the summer months and school breaks upon mutual agreement between the Employee and the School Principal; these days would be paid on a per-diem basis with the completion and submission of time sheets.

 

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
  2. Previous work experience in an office setting is preferred.
  3. Previous experience working with children is preferred.
  4. Ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
  7. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.

Benefits & Compensation:

Annual salary for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 is bugeted for $36,951 which will be prorated based upon the start date of the successful applicant.  This position is eligible for sick and personal time benefits.
